Totally secluded, but only 3 miles from village. A self-catering unit (completely self-contained) attached to the main family home. The house is built into the hillside and has a turf covered roof. The accommodation is very comfortable and fully equipped. Patio doors lead out to a beautiful trout burn. Salmon come to spawn in the Autumn, otters are seen here, and 'weather permitting' we swim in summer. This house is in one of the most stunning locations in Scotland. We are surrounded by breathtaking scenery and abundant wildlife. Roe Deer can be heard barking in the nearby forest, we see both roe and red deer frequently, and it is a mecca for bird-watchers. It is also conveniently situated, Kingussie 7 miles south, Aviemore 7 miles north. The village of Kincraig is 2.5 miles and boasts 3 excellent restaurants. Other nearby facilities include gliding, watersports, riding, walking, golf, fishing, ski-ing and many more, or one can simply relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility. | Directions: From both North and South turn
off the B970 at Kincraig, following the signs for Loch Insh. Turn
left at the T Junction, past the loch, and follow the road for about 1
mile to Feshiebridge. Cross bridge, follow road around a left
bend, then take a right junction signed Guest House, Hostel.
Follow this narrow road for about three-quarters of a mile until you
come to a bridge crossing a burn. Turn sharp left here are you are
at the house. |
