Our new non-smoking, self catering cottage (formally the kith 'n' kin) which is nestling in a quiet corner of the hotel grounds, is now available.
Within the Cairngorm National Park and ‘Monarch of the Glen’ country is the beautiful village of Kincraig; just off the B9152, 6 miles north of Kingussie and 6 miles south of Aviemore. Situated on the shores of Loch Insh and the River Spey, the village itself offers the holidaymaker a wealth of activities – sailing, canoeing, windsurfing, birdwatching and wonderful walks at all levels. Within the area, there is pony trekking, gliding, fishing and an excellent golf course at Kingussie

Comfortable lounge with 21"TV, Video and DVD and as you can see a light, spacious dining area in the lovely bay windows.
 Apart from December and January when the hotel is closed, cottage guests are welcome to take meals in the hotel with a 10% discount on food. Prior booking is advisable.

There is a separate fully fitted kitchen with fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, electric cooker and microwave.

THE ACCOMMODATION

The cottage sleeps a maximum of 4 – one double-bedded room and one spacious room with full-size bunk beds; Bathroom with bath/shower;
Heated throughout.  Bed linen, towels and tea-towels provided. There will also be a small supply of tea, coffee, sugar and milk for that essential arrival cuppa!

There is an excellent shop in the village (including post office) which can supply all other essentials.

 If there is anything you would like us to purchase on your behalf, should you plan to arrive after the shop has closed, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome, but we would ask that they are never left in the cottage unaccompanied or allowed on the beds or lounge furniture.  

The hotel also has permits for salmon and trout fishing on both Loch Insh (using the hotel boat) just a few minutes from your chalet and the river Spey at Dalnavert (below the heather centre).
