In the quiet rural village of Insh, on the edge of Insh Marshes with many bird species to be found.  A popular area for bird watchers and walkers.  Enjoy cycling, golf, pony treking or take a trip on a glider from the nearby airstrip.
Local attractions include Loch Insh Watersports with bar and restaurant, Kincraig Wildlife Park, golf courses with dramatic views, churches, gardens, museum, shops with local produce, numerous eating facilities and Landmark Heritage Centre for a family day out.  
The Strathspey Steam Railway has daily runs and Ospreys visit Loch Garten in the Spring.  Loch Morlich sands and watersports are close to the funicular railway on the Cairngorm Mountains with all skiing and snow-boarding facilities available.
