From the south:
follow the A9 north and take the B9152 turn-off to Newtonmore. Drive
through the town to Kingussie then turn right onto the B970,also
signposted railway station and Ruthven barracks-ancient monument. Follow
the B970 for 4.5 miles and you will come to an unmade road on your right
(sign saying "Inveruglas, private road" also note the
enclosure for the council skip bin). Slowly drive up this road for 0.4
miles where the road forks. Take the left fork, go on approx 100 metres
and take the track to the right which leads only to Easter Inveruglas
cottage. the name is on the house.
