This former traditional highland croft, now a cosy family cottage, constructed from local stone, stands in its own enclosed garden. Set over 900ft above sea level, it has spectacular views over the Monadhliah mountains, the river Spey and Insh Marshes Nature Reserve to the front, and Moor land and forests to the rear. A special feature is  the west facing sun porch with spectacular views and sunsets.

This modernised and fully furnished accommodation comprises: on the ground floor, large porch/sun lounge and also this living room with baxi open fire and TV etc.

There is a second lounge/dining room with oil-fired Rayburn stove and TV. Leading from here is a single bedroom, as does the well equipped kitchen, with cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave and washing machine. There is also a tumble drier in the outbuilding.

Upstairs is this double bedroom (please note that it is a  king sized bed) and a twin bedded room with wash basin. The bathroom/WC is also on this floor. There is a stairgate available on request. These rooms have fitted electric blankets. Pillows, duvets and blankets are provided, but not bed linen and personal towels. These may be hired on request.  The cottage heating is by open fire, Rayburn and radiators.

Location
: Inveruglas comprises a scattering of properties, old and new, approached by a 0.5 mile unmade road from the scenic B970. This road runs between Kingussie and Kincraig. For walking, birdwatching and a wide range of outdoor activities, Inveruglas is the place to base yourself. Among the rare birds nesting locally are whinchats, goldcrests and crested tits. Red squirrels and deer, both Roe and Red are frequent visitors.

An old drove road (unsuitable for traffic) passes  through, giving foot access to a vast  selection of paths and forestry roads leading to Insh, Drumguish and Glen Feshie. There is easy road access to all main facilities and attractions of the area.
